Jennifer was the winner of Miss World 1970. The pageant took place in London, UK on November 20, 1970. She had previously won the title of Miss Grenada 1970. There were rumors that she had won because of the influence exerted by the Prime Minister of her country, who was one of the judges. She worked for BBC’s Caribbean radio service, and later became a flight attendant. She published her autobiography, Beyond Miss World, in 2008.
